Woodson Winter Guard

Winter Guard is an indoor performance ensemble similar to Color Guard, but instead of performing with the marching band, members present choreographed routines to recorded music—typically on a basketball court. The Woodson Winter Guard competes in the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) and was promoted to the CGSA3 Division following their championship season in the CGSRA1 Division in 2025. Tryouts are usually held in early November, and the season runs from November through March, concluding with the AIA North Championships in Hampton, VA in late March.
