Tag Day
What is Tag Day?
Tag Day is our annual, one-day fundraising event where band members go door-to-door in the local community to collect monetary donations in support of the band program. It’s our largest fundraiser of the year and a vital source of funding.
When & Where

Usually held on a Saturday in September, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a break for lunch

Students are assigned to specific neighborhoods and travel in groups

No one canvasses alone — every group is accompanied by a parent in a car

Students wear their band uniforms while canvassing
Who Participates?

It is essential for every band member to participate
- This is our largest volunteer event, so it is critical for as many band families as possible to provide a volunteer to drive band students or to support other tasks back at Woodson High School
