After the VBODA marching band assessment and concert band assessments for the 2023/2024 school year, The Woodson High School Bands have been awarded the 2023-2024 Virginia Honor Band distinction.

Woodson High School has been awarded the Virginia State Honor Band consecutively every year since 2009!!!


ONLY the 5th program in Virginia State history to accomplish this honor!!!

**No VBODA assessments happened in 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
