Aaron Morgan has served as Director of Bands at Woodson since 2016. Since becoming director, the program has grown by over 50 students, added an additional jazz band, and an additional concert band, all while maintaining the award winning performance excellence in concert and marching band. A native of Cobb County, Georgia, Aaron received his undergraduate degree in Music Education from Georgia State University in 2011, and his master’s degree in Music Performance from Arizona State University in 2013. Prior to teaching at Woodson, Aaron was the director at Madison County High School in Danielsville, GA for three years.
