Woodson High School Bands<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.woodsonband.org\/wtwdev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/luggage-form.pdf\">Luggage Search Permission Form for Parents<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>TRIP RULES AND REGULATIONS*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>*<\/strong><em>Students and parents should be aware that this trip is a school sanctioned trip and that serious violations of rules will be reported to the school administration for disciplinary action.<\/em><\/p>\n<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>What to bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Uniform:\u00a0 <\/strong>Blue Band polo<\/p>\n<p>Flat Front Khaki Shorts (5\u201d minimum inseam.\u00a0 NO cargo pockets or side tabs)<\/p>\n<p>White, no show socks<\/p>\n<p>Clean sneakers<\/p>\n<p>-Instrument and accessories (<em>reeds, valve oil, mutes, mallets, etc.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>-Snacks for the bus<\/p>\n<p>-DVD\u2019s for the bus (rated G, PG, PG-13)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Money : 2 Breakfasts provided at hotel, and $50 voucher provided for meals in the parks.\u00a0 However, we have 3 lunches and 3 dinners in park, so may need additional $$ to cover.\u00a0 We will stop for a fast food type breakfast on the bus ride down and back.\u00a0 Snacks and water bottles are allowed in the park.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Homework!!!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Aid\/Medications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>See First Aid Information Sheet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Luggage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Each student may bring one <u>small<\/u> suitcase\/duffle and one carry on bag.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Luggage will be turned in on Tuesday 3\/20 from 6-7pm, and stored until departure. All luggage will be inspected by a chaperone unless the parent has certified the contents and personally delivered the luggage to a chaperone at luggage turn in.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>See attached list of prohibited items, and leave them at home!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em><u>All<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em> carry on items will be inspected upon boarding the bus before departure.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>On the bus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will remain on their buses until told to disembark by their band director.<\/li>\n<li>Only music players with headphones are allowed on the buses. No boom boxes or speakers.<\/li>\n<li>Students may bring drinks, but only in unopened (sealed) containers to be inspected by the parents. Refillable bottles are allowed only if they are <u><\/u><\/li>\n<li>Public displays of affection are <strong>PROHIBITED<\/strong> at any time or in any place. Students will not share blankets on the bus trip.<\/li>\n<li>Any DVDs brought on the trip must be rated G, PG, or PG-13 only. Bus Chaperones will approve any videos shown on the bus.\u00a0 Label them with your name please.<\/li>\n<li>Students will not be allowed to get off the bus until it is free of all trash. Regarding Medications For Disney Trip<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If your student will require any prescription\u00a0medication on the Disney band trip, the Medication Authorization Form must be on file with the band and note that the prescription dosage must match what is on the form.\u00a0 Any dosage changes will require a new Medical Authorization Form to be submitted with a physician\u2019s signature. \u00a0Contact Peggy Einhorn or Michele Banker if you would like to confirm what dosage is on file.<\/p>\n<p>Prescription medication, will be accepted in the band room between 6:00-900pm on Tuesday 3\/20. \u00a0You may turn in updated medication authorization forms at this time as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Virginia law requires all\u00a0medication to be turned in by a parent, guardian or responsible adult. \u00a0NO MEDICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM A STUDENT.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Please have any prescription medication in the original bottle and only containing the dosage needed during the trip<\/em><\/strong><strong>. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stock Epinephrine will not be supplied by the school. \u00a0If you already have an Epinephrine Authorization Form, Inhaler Authorization Form or other Medication Authorization Form\u00a0on file in the health office at Woodson, please obtain a copy of this form and submit it to the band.<\/p>\n<p>Over the counter
