Winter Guard Competition 22 MAR 2025
The next Woodson Winter Guard Atlantic Indoor Association competition of the season is scheduled on 22 MAR 2025. This competition will take place at Mount Vernon High School (8515 Old Mount Vernon Road, Alexandria VA 22309).

Ticket information for spectators is as follows:
Ticket Price: Adults (6+) = $ 15.00 Children up to age 5 = FREE
Payment Accepted: Cash, MC, V, D, AMEX and Band Booster checks made payable to Mt. Vernon Band Boosters. Personal checks will not be accepted.
Woodson’s Itinerary: (10 Guards competing in our division CGSRA1)
- 9:10 AM Band Room Doors Open
- 9:30 AM Rehearsal
- 11:30 AM Run Through
- 11:50 PM Eat/Pack & Load all equipment, props, and flags (bring your own lunch)
- 12:30 PM Chaperones/Drivers Arrive Woodson
- 1:00 PM Load Carpool
- 1:10 PM Depart WOODSON (30-40 min drive time)
- 1:50 PM Arrival at MOUNT VERNON HS
- 2:00 PM Official Check in time
- 2:20 PM In uniform and make-up at holding area
- 2:45 PM Depart for Warm Ups
- 3:20 PM PERFORMANCE TIME
- 3:30 PM Pack up Equipment
- 3:50 PM Change out of uniform into Jeans & Show Shirt
- 4:00 PM In stands to watch other guards
- 4:30 PM Awards & Critiques (Divisions CGSRA2, CGSRA1, CGES and CGMS)
- 5:15 PM Load Carpool
- 5:20 PM Depart for Woodson HS (following Awards & Critique)
- 6:00 PM Unload Equipment/Dismissed
