John E. Casagrande, Band Director 1982-2000

Former Woodson Band director John E. Casagrande has passed away. He returned to Woodson just last spring as a guest conductor at the final concert of the year. From Mr. Morgan: “I could say a lot about him and his outstanding character, but for you parents… please know that the Woodson band owes so much to his work over the years. What the students enjoy now didn’t exist when he took over. I am grateful to work in the room that has his name on it.”
