2023 Disney Itinerary

This is the published Itinerary for the upcoming Disney Band Trip. This is based on all the information included in the Disney Packet.

APRIL 12th & 13th (Wednesday / Thursday)
MAGIC KINGDOM

  • 5:00PM – Report to Woodson HS: Luggage Check/Load Busses
  • by 7:00PM – Depart via Adventure Busses for Florida
    **Rest Stop enroute at approx North Carolina Welcome Center
  • 4:00AM – Change of Drivers enroute in Florence, South Carolina
  • 7:00AM – Breakfast in Jacksonville, Florida area
    Fast Food chains: McD, Chick-Fil-A, Dunkin Dounuts
  • approx 10:00AM – Arrival at Magic Kingdom, (Park Hours 9AM – 11PM) Park Bus Parking Area – Admission tickets & park packets will be delivered to all students and chaperones upon arrival. ONE $60 Meal Voucher included in packet to be used anytime in the parks. Enjoy the day in the Magic Kingdom Park.
  • 10:00PM – Depart Park for SpringHill Suites/Townplace Suites @ Flamingo Crossing {13279 Hartzog Road} (407-507-1200)
  • 11:00PM – Curfew/Security Guard for Group on watch

APRIL 14th (Friday) EPCOT

  • 7:00AM – Breakfast at Hotel
  • Clinic/Performance/Adjudication Day – AM Band (with Mr. Morgan)- assemble at 10:00 AM at the Italy showcase on the side closest to the Germany Showcase (in Epcot). 
    They will walk us back, we will grab our instruments from under the bus, get set up and do our workshop. Workshop is 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  Students then pack up and are walked back to the park and are free for the remainder of the day.

    SR Band (with Mr. Rice)- assemble at 1:30 PM at the Italy showcase on the side closest to the Germany Showcase (in Epcot).  They will walk us back, we will grab our instruments from under the bus, get set up and do our workshop. Workshop is 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.  Students then pack up and are walked back to the park and are free for the remainder of the day.
    Student assignments for AM or SR band are located on Mr. Morgan’s office door.
  • (after workshop done) Enjoy rest of day in (EPCOT) (Park Hours 9AM – 9PM)
  • 9:00PM – Depart for Hotel
  • 11:30PM – Curfew/Security Guard for Group on watch

APRIL 15th (Saturday)
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Check Out/Load Busses
  • 9:00AM – Depart for (Hollywood Studios) (Park Hours 8:30AM- 10:00PM)
  • Approx 10:00PM – Depart for Home – Roll Call/Rest Stop Enroute

APRIL 16th (Sunday)

  • Driver Change Enroute in Florence, South Carolina
  • Breakfast Enroute – Possible in Florence or Further North
  • Approx 1:00 PM -2:00 PM – Arrival at Woodson HS (students will notify parents appox 30-45 mins out)
