Early Dropoff for Concert Band Uniforms; Repairs

Concert Band’s assessment this year will be on Friday, March 15.  To accommodate students who wish to bring in their uniform early, uniform racks will be available in the band room starting on Wednesday morning, March 13.   You uniform bag should contain EVERYTHING you need for the assessment concert:  tuxedo, dress, tuxedo shirt, tie/cummerbund, pearls, BLACK calf-length socks, band shoes and any hair accessories needed to meet the concert band uniform requirements.  All concert uniform requirements are located on the band website.

In preparation for the pre-assessment and assessment concerts, all uniforms need to be checked for dropped hems, missing or loose button or any other issue you may have.  Per the Concert Uniform Requirements which are permanently located on the band’s website, it is your responsibility to sew on buttons, have dropped hems repaired, launder your tux shirts and dresses and dry clean your tuxedo. All instructions and suggested dry cleaners are noted in the requirements. If your uniform no longer fits, you MUST inform us by February 15th, in order to schedule you for a fitting.  We will NOT be doing fittings immediately prior to either concert.  Thanks for your assistance!
