Band on Facebook & Remind

Two more sources of photos and up-to-the minute band information are the WT Woodson Band Patrons Facebook page and the Remind text group. To join the Facebook page, you MUST provide your student’s name and grade. We receive requests from realtors, parents from other area bands, etc., and it is important to know we are allowing only Woodson band parents to join. Remind is a free text service that will send you infrequent but important updates, most critically, information as to when buses are returning from competitions. Chaperones usually inform us when the bus is leaving and when it’s getting close, and that can save you a lot of time in the parking lot. Other Remind topics are for schedule changes, band patron meetings, and occasionally, when we are in dire need of volunteers just before an event.
